Chateau Chien offers a non-kenneled, group environment where safety, fun and pet stimulation is emphasized. Playtime and basic obedience are practiced, all while your pet is socializing and interacting with our sitters and other guests. Plan your dog’s play date today!

A comprehensive, pre-admission orientation and strict screening process assesses the needs and compatibility of each applicant. Space is limited. Our “meet and greet” policies require written proof of up to date vet status for vaccinations and bordetella. Orientations are scheduled by appointment only.

We offer doggie daycare for half and full days; short and long term boarding. We prefer dogs be spayed or neutered to encourage group play. Dogs should be licensed. All dogs must be involved in a flea and heartworm prevention program.

Chateau Chien also offers dog walking, cat sitting, and pet taxi services and house calls. Dog walking and cat sitting assignments involve a 50 minute visit and are provided within two hour time ranges. Our contract sitters and walkers are bonded and insured for your protection and your pet’s safety. Orientations are conducted in your home to confirm your pet’s eligibility for these services. We service North York, Thornhill and Richmond Hill. Advance bookings are required.

We can also occasionally offer a short term stay in the home of one of our sitters. This service is ideal for pets that need extra supervision or care.

Clients will be asked to enter signed contracts, provide emergency contact and health information about their pet, including a signed release form in the event of emergency medical treatment. We have ten years experience in tending to our “special needs” pets, including puppies, seniors, or animals requiring medication.
